Got this from Kristen999 who gave me the letter "T".
Comment, and I will give you a letter. Then, you have to list 10 things you love that start with the letter I assign you.
Thunderstorms- I love them, in fact, I'm the idiot sitting on the porch watching the lightening.
Twilight- My favorite time of the day, the way the sky goes all indigo and the trees turn black. Magic.
Transylvania County NC- Land of the waterfalls and home to the white squirrel, what's not to love?
Turkeys- No seriously. Ever since we went hiking in NC and I chased down the turkeys for a picture my "Indian name" has been "She Who Goes Stalking Turkeys".
Tea- I love a good cup of hearty black tea. Yum.
Taro Chips- Living in Hawaii as a kid I hated poi, but fry the Taro like a potato chip and it's a winner!
Tuscany- Who wouldn't want their own "Under the Tuscan Sun" moment. Still saving to take that trip.
Tenacity- A trait I'm sorry to say I excell in. It can sometimes be a bad thing, especially in my job, but you have to respect someone who will see something through to the very end.
Tam Lin- The best ever faerie tale around. Love does conquer all.
Train whistles- Always liked them but during college my room faced the train tracks a mile away. Late at night the train would come through and I just liked the melancholy sound.

You are The StarHope, expectation, Bright promises. The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one. What Tarot Card are You? Take the Test to Find Out. </div> Been one of those days that just sort of transitions into night. Bored. Thought these would be interesting. And no sooner do you say Blam!Bob's your Uncle, these are pretty damn acurate.

It's really true what they say about Wednesday being the "hump" day. Woke up to a tropical depression dumping tons of rain on me. Spooked the dogs, so they're huddled under the covers in bed.
It happened slowly, but I have a confession. Due much in part to kristen999 and her stories/pic spams, I am now more obsessed with Stargate Atlantis than anything else. Seriously. Go check it out. So with that in mind, I went surfing. Well, web surfing. And I found this photo of Joe Flanigan. At least it says it is, but I'm not sure if it's real or memorex. Kinda hot. Okay, really hot and to be on the safe side, not safe if your working. Anyone know where this pic is from??

Well, this was kinda fun.... Came down to one question. Am I always the leader, or would I fight for a good cause. Oh come on. No brainer. I'm always up for a good cause.

How much do I really loathe June? Well. Quite a bit actually.
Yeah, I get the whole "hurricane season" thing. Believe me, 20 years in Florida, you get to know the Tropics and lows and all. Heck, NOAHH is bookmarked and I start checking it daily come every June 1st. It's funny, a friend of mine [a true Florida native] said you can always tell the Floridians from the transplants. Any time there's a Tropical Depression in the forecast, a true Floridian will get "depressed" along with it. And he was right. But enough of that. You do what you can do and get on with your life.
Back to loathing. The biggest problem June has brought, besides Barry, and he was actually beneficial, was the heat. And humidity. And mosquitoes. But the heat.... it's really bad. Especially when driving into work Friday and noticing I wasn't really getting cooler with the AC on. Then I turn off the radio and hear it. That tell-tale hissing that mocked me several times in the past six years. The condenser coils and/or compressor were shot. Again! No ac, no defroster... Went to the dealership Saturday. See, this is the third time in six years I've had this problem and Wynter likes it cold. No cold makes for a very bitchy Wynter. And BitchyWynter is very scary, even Mom says so. You can imagine how bitchy I got when I found out how much it would cost. I played the "you fixed it twice, how many times do you have to fix it before it's right" card and was informed that the "life-time" warranty only applies if I had actually paid for the repair originally. Which I didn't. 'Cause the Aztek was under warranty then. And when it blew the second time, the part was still under warranty. So this time, no warranty. Just me and my wallet. And it's pretty empty
Oh, and did I mention Sunday? No, not the day, the SGA episode. Holy shit! I really like Carson. I mean really. And now he's dead. And after wiping my eyes [allergies, I swear], I thought about character deaths. See I only started watching SGA religiously this year. You'd think that that wouldn't be enough time to become invested in the characters. They live, they die, who cares, right? Wrong. I've been watching CSI since it premiered all those years ago on a Friday night. I have yet to form some sort of attachment to Sara Sidle. I actually could care less how she dies, but I want her gone. I want the angst her dying will bring. But Carson? Holy Hell! I want him back! Alive. And I hardly knew him. Kinda tells me that CSI and myself have gotten to that, "let's just be friends" stage in the relationship. I mean, as long as GE is still there I'll tape the episodes, but it may be a couple of days before I speed through to his part.
So, I'm rambling. Do that some times. Could be I'm procrastinating too. That yard work isn't going to get done if I don't get out there. And the house won't clean itself either. Bugger.

And here I thought I was more of an Orange or Burnt Sienna....
You are STEEL BLUE Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.
Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.
Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

I tried to paste the code thingie, but it wouldn't work, so, just make do with this. After I got this answer I spent an hour [no kidding] trying to get into the red family....Closest I got was Olive Green and that was only when I went for brooding loner attitude......

Sides came out yesterday for the season ender. They contain info on the killer's identity. They show Sara has been kidnapped, and yeah, that's pretty much it. I'll put the rant behind a cut in case you don't want to know "who did it".

So I thought after reading various recaps, I'd do my own. WARNING, Spoilers be there!
1/23/07 06:41 am
So, I've been lurking on different spoiler sites for a while now, most are dedicated to one romance or another and are specific to those areas of the show. Me, I guess I'm a 'noro', so here's some snippets for upcoming episodes that are not skewered towards one or two characters and their ridiculous relationship.
7x14 [Meet Market]- Keppler and Nick are working side by side on a body-part snatching case. They're actually civil to each other, so maybe Nick has forgiven Catherine and Keppy, or maybe he's just keeping his 'enemy' closer. Sara flashes back to the moment Grissom told her he was going on sabaatical. She aparently did not take it well, what with her abandonment issues and all.
7x15 [Law of Gravity]- For those of you Liev fans, brace yourself. Keppy bites the dust. And no, I don't know how, yet. Suffice to say, he was a very tortured man, running from his demons, and they caught up to him. The mysterious 'Frank' turns out to be his dead girlfriend's father [she and daddy had a 'very special' relationship]. He has also been Keppy's surrogate father and may not be all that squeaky clean. Oh! And Grissom is back. He's dealing with the split team, Keppy's demise, and Sara, who is actually running away from him and refuses to talk to him.
7x16 [Monster in a Box]- The MiniCrimeScene killer has returned and this time, he gets two victims! Grissom aparently opened the box delivered at the end of Leaving Las Vegas. Nick, Warrick, and Brass figure out where the scene is and lo and behold, they get there before the killer strikes. Nice interaction between Brass and the supposed victim. Long story short- they get her out, replace her with an officer to act as decoy. Officer dies by MCS killer's hand. Then, the original victim ends up dead. Did MCS killer get her too? Not! I'll let yo figure that one out.
7x17 [Fallen Idols]- Warrick is single again. He and Nick [with an assist from Greg and Archie] are investigating the hit and run of a Cheerleader and the disappearance of her basketball-star boyfriend. The prime suspects are the Cheerleader's BFF[Shelia] and her boy-next-door cheerleader friend. But then Shelia drops dead while being questioned. And Boy-Next-Door cops to killing the basketball stud. Seems he slept with anything that moved and was passing along a STD. Come to find out, Sheila and BND follow cheerleader and stud. They bust in as stud is getting down to business with a less than willing Cheerleader. They humiliate him and run. He comes after. Shelia gets clunked on the head. Cheerleader kills Stud. BND dumps the body. So where is it? You'll see.
That's it for now. Watch for updates.
